About
Optimization is my passion. Whenever I see something that is sub-optimal, I can’t help but come up with ways that it could be better. With that said, I actually think balanced optimization is the most important part of optimization. I’m not interested in maximizing one thing to the detriment of all others–no, I want to step back, as the question: what should be the objective here? Then maximize the achievement of that objective. That’s what I view this blog as being about.
Lifestyle is a huge part of what I spend my time optimizing. To that end, I’m answering the question: how do I live the best life I can live?
I also love picking apart failed optimizations like: why is it that we optimize GDP when there’s something more important we could optimize instead (collective well-being).
